City Color Code

City Color Code is an application designed for the color analysis of urban façades. The project was developed as part of a university course and created collaboratively by a team of fifteen participants. Starting from scratch, the team worked through the entire design process, from the initial concept to the development of the application idea.

The application generates color palettes and color fans based on the analysis of urban façades. It can import data from Faro scanners or other camera systems, organize and categorize metadata, reconstruct historical color schemes, and determine the average color values of buildings.

The app also integrates GPS data, allowing façades to be displayed and marked on a map. This enables users to compare the average color characteristics of different cities. Environmental factors such as weather conditions are also considered in the color image analysis.

City Color Code includes social and collaborative features, allowing users to create and upload projects, organize collected data, and export recorded color palettes. Projects and datasets can be shared with individuals or groups, and users can interact through commenting and rating functions.

The application is cloud-based and provides a range of intuitive tools designed to support efficient color documentation and analysis.
